Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactWhat I love about this photo, is how we are drawn in to the focus by the grass. We follow it up and find the children. The children, siblings, are the main idea and this is emphasized with the focus on them, how vivid and clear their appearance is compared to the background and the halo of light that comes down from behind.
I like how we come down into the children's level, it's as though we are getting an insight into their world. Looking at them, the brother seems to be telling his older sister something very important, while the sister listens and laughs along.
This shows she cares for her brother: A photo with smiles like this can't be set up.
In all, I love how well the whole piece comes together pulling you around the two, I like how I'm dragged to the faces and smiles and I get to see a beautiful time of life.
The brightness of the grass highlights and surrounds them showing the two in their own little world.
